CNS has 26 BS and BA programs in the sciences that prepare students for a diversity of careers in the sciences, medicine, and industry, and entry into graduate school. Course offerings range from astrophysics to wildlife conservation, from renewable energy to clinical psychology.

The Stockbridge School of Agriculture offers 6 AS degrees in agricultural and equine industries.

CNS students take advantage of a range of inquiry-based classroom and laboratory experiences, hands-on undergraduate research opportunities, multidisciplinary and cross-departmental education and research initiatives, and a variety of student organizations. In addition, they are encouraged to develop strong written and oral communication skills, as well as leadership and problem solving abilities.
